3SOPA/PIPA Blackout – You can paticipate too
On january 18th and 23rd,a mass movement called SOPA blackout has been organised.Many websites including wikipedia is going to paticipate in SOPA/PIPA blackout.Essentially during SOPA blackout dates all the websites/blogs,owners of which are aginast SOPA will redirect their websites/blogs temporarily to a page with a message similar to -
This site has been blocked in protest of the SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) two bills which will allow the government censor the intenet.
So if you are against SOPA and have a blog/website then even you can participate in the protest.Shrewdgeek.com is also participating in the sopa blackout movement and you will see a message similar to the above.

SOPA is just a good scare they gave us, to know they have the power to pull the plug. I doubt they would have actually done it, but i believe they”ve made their point.
Megaupload went down at the same time, and because of SOPA not many people cared. After that other filehosting websites got scared and shut down. It’s a domino and no one knows where it stops.
SOPA and ACTA are BAD. Actually it was government who tired broke our freedom and america are protest against SOPA, PIPA, and ACTA.
No one like ACTA. ACTA is the 2x worst than SOPA.
Yes rightly said,ACTA is worse than SOPA,also its not only bad for U.S.,its bad for even other countries.
If DMCA act can be applied everywhere,other countries should also fear about that acts like SOPA,PIPA and ACTA can be applied elsewhere too.
