Sony Mobile announces Xperia U (Kumquat) And Xperia P At MWC

Sony mobile communication has announced Xperia U and Xperia P at Mobile world congress.Both the smartphones are subjected to a availabilty of Q2 2012.Also,the company has announced that Xperia S (which was announced earlier) has started shipping.

Lets look at the key specifications of Xperia U and Xperia P.

Xperia U which has previously dubbed as ST25i and kumquat is now the official name.All the previous specification leaks of the device are in accordance with that announced today.

Key specifications of the smartphone include, 1GHZ dual-core processor,android 2.3 (upgradable to 4.0),3.5-inch display,5MP rear camera,Xloud for music,wifi,bluetooth,2D and 3D image capture

Xperia P is second of the NXT series smartphone that Sony mobile has displayed today.This device unlike the above will have NFC inbuilt and also boasts support for sony smart tags.Also,Xperia P will be available in three different colors.

Key specifications of the smartphone include,aluminium unibody,NFC,4-inch display,8MP rear camera,1080p video recording,dual-core processor,new photo and video apps,integrates sony entertainment network,HDMI connectivity,SmartDock.
