DROID R2-D2 gets maintenance update from verizon build 4.5.622.A957

Verizon has released a maintenance update for the pretty old but capable smartphone droid r2-d2.The update brings-in android 2.3.4 and will bump your build to 4.5.622.A957.

The update includes security enhancements,bug-fixes and will also install some new verizon applications like VZCast and VZNavigator.The complete update details can be seen below :

PS: after updating you may loose root access.Also don’t expect Ice cream sandwich update for DROID R2-D2 as it gonna never come.
