Advantages of Windows Phone

Microsoft has been making great strides lately. Their campaigns for the Windows Phone are really effective. Plenty of people are either buying Windows Phones straight up or getting a trade in for one.

If you’re looking to sell your phone for an upgrade, you better switch to a Windows Phone. Why? It’s radically different from Android and iOS, which are similar to each other.

Windows Phone is a refreshing way to look at smartphones. This is why Microsoft has gotten a lot of praise for the intuitive interface, despite the low number of sales.

So, should you sell your phone for a Windows Phone? Let’s find out.

  • Intuitive UI

The first thing you’ll notice with Windows is the very intuitive UI called Live Tiles. There, you’ll be able to pin contacts, apps, links and other stuff for easy access.
For example, if you heavily text someone, you’ll be able to instantly go to the messaging app and type away. The same can be said for your favorite apps. No more swishing around menus.
It also displays information, such as unread emails and Facebook notifications.

  • Deep Social Media Integration

Microsoft knows how much people rely on Facebook, and Twitter. So they’ve decided to integrate these two into the software.

You’ll be able to post updates and tweets all right on the interface. You don’t have to go to their respective apps! You’ll also be able to view updates by your contacts on their profiles, provided you’re also friends with them on Facebook.

Plus, LinkedIn integration makes Windows Phone a really cool choice.

  • Bing

With the Android interface, you get a Google Search Bar. The same can also be said with Windows Phone, only this time it’s Bing.
With Bing, you get a comprehensive searching app that helps you find whatever you need.

For example, if you’re looking for more information about the music you’re currently playing, Bing will search for information on the Internet.

You can also use Local Scout, which looks for events, restaurants and other happenings in your current area.

  • Threaded and Combined Inboxes

Convenience is the number one feature of Windows Phone, and it is strongly present in their messaging system.

For example, you’ll be able to read your Facebook conversation with your friend in an inbox, and you’ll be able to send a text message when the conversation suddenly drops. That way, you don’t have to go to other messaging apps just to continue the conversation.

It’s really convenient! Of course, if you want to keep your emails, texts and other messages separated, Windows Phone can do that for you.

  • Wonderful App Selection

One of the coolest things about Windows is the app selection. You’ll find apps that allow you to chat for free with Android and iOS devices!

Of course, you’ll get a selection to plenty of fun games and useful apps, such as Microsoft Office. While it may not compare to the number of apps Apple has, the quality is there.

Conclusion
Selling your phone and getting a Windows Phone is a great thing to do. With the number of Windows Phones out now, there are a lot of choices!
