Godaddy servers are back-up after going down

godaddy server down hacked Godaddy servers are back up after going down

Godaddy servers were hacked and they went down, taking all websites hosted on godaddy down. This was perhaps the worst day for the domain name registration giant. All webmasters who has their sites hosted with Godaddy seemed to be annoyed, but a happy news now is that all the godaddy servers are back-up and are running again. This means all the sites hosted with godaddy are up and running again.

Meanwhile, reports are that,an hacker group named “AnonymousOwn3r” had hacked Godaddy and the hacker has tweets in succession of the hack act,one you can see here.Anthough, godaddy seems to be tweeting just the apposite,it says that there was no hacker related issue and the servers went down because of some technical glitch.

Godaddy has an apology message on its website which says :

NOTICE…
Yesterday, GoDaddy.com and associated customer services experienced intermittent service outages.
At no time was any sensitive customer information, such as credit card data, passwords or names and addresses, compromised.

Godaddy seems to claim that no data or information has been compromised, but this act has surely brought Godaddy’s image as a reputed hosting provider down.

Other hosting services for example hostgator seem to take advantage of this as you may not be surprised, hostgator currently is giving 50% OFF (GODADDYISDOWN) off for new registrations, they are aiming to eat up the godaddy competition. icon biggrin Godaddy servers are back up after going down .

Well,if godaddy can be hacked then any other hosting service or IT service as reputed as godaddy can be hacked, does this mean that we as webmasters have no place to go.After this act,I myself think i am taking chances with my host icon sad Godaddy servers are back up after going down
